Walk and Talk with Karen and Emma on
the first Sunday of every month. Arranged by Karen Mills (Zen
Occupational Health) and Emma Dechoux (Inspired Learning), the walks show
that exercise, the outdoors and socialising benefit mental health. The
two-mile, all flat, walks start at 10am in The Square (Nantwich town
centre) and go around Nantwich Lake (off Shrewbridge Road and Park Road)
and return to Aroma Cafe for coffee or tea and a chat (optional). Open
to everyone - adults, dogs and children (supervised by an adult).

Monthly Guided Walks.
These are staged by St Mary's
Parish Church, Acton and last for about two-hours. They are around five miles at a relaxed pace, mainly on the canal
towpath and lanes, begin from St Mary's at 12.45pm for a
prompt 1pm start. Stout outdoor shoes or walking shoes or
boots are recommended. Dogs on leads are welcome. Walkers
will be back in time for tea. (See

All are welcome. There is no
charge but donations are gratefully received. Contact

Town walks, Welsh Row walks and
Riverside walks are arranged by Nantwich
Museum open to the general public. Also special interest walks requested by

Walks with South Cheshire Ramblers

Crewe and Nantwich Rambling Club
Rambles normally take place on Sundays
fortnightly throughout the year, with a choice
of six, nine or 12 mile walks. Travel to the start of the rambles are by
coach with pick-ups at Nantwich, Wistaston and Crewe.
Rambles are also held on
Thursday mornings on a four-weekly basis with travelling by car and the
option of a pub meal after the rambles.
The club was 75 years old
on October 13.

Walk Stapeley leaflets are available
from the Tourist Information Centre in the Civic Hall in Market Street,
Nantwich. Six walks, mainly in the Stapeley area, are featured in
leaflet 1 and four in leaflet 2. These are not walks on specific days,
but given as walks to be followed by members of the general public in
their own times. Information on the length and route of the walks and
the time they take to complete, plus the degree of exertion needed, are
given. Some walks include extensions for people who want to walk
further. Safety advice is also given. The leaflets are sponsored by
Stapeley Parish Action Group, Cheshire East Council and Baker, Wynne and
Wilson.
