TAKE a rest on the benches around the
war memorial on The Square and you can educate yourself about some
of Nantwich's history at the same time.
A set of 16 new seats,
provided recently as part of a Nantwich Now-backed
improvement, have one of four dates on
the legs relating to events through the ages. Of course, the same
date appear on more than one of the seats. (I wonder how long it
will take people to realise that!)
Before I tell you what
happened on the dates in question, see if
you can fill in the answers.
Please don't write them on your computer
screen . . . ! I'll give you the first one - not out of kindness but
because you would never get it in
a month of Sundays.
