Members of the Sealed Knot lead actors from Nantwich Players (below) to The Square to perform their court drama

Nantwich Players' member Gareth Roberts (above), who appeared as the landlord in the drama society's annual playtlet, is led to the pillory for not keeping his performing bear (Nigel Vernon, right) under proper control.

Andrew Gillitt, a leading Nantwich member of the Sealed Knot, marked his 95th birthday the day after Holly Holy Day.

If you're wondering what this lady is doing to the Rector of Nantwich (the Rev Peter Chantry), reassurance can be found in her right hand. She is attempting to fix a large holly buttonhole to his coat. Members of St Mary's Church sold the buttonholes - as a way of raising money for the church's Restoration fund - as a reminder of those worn by Nantwich people after the lifting of the siege of Nantwich.

A customer buys her lunch, a pork bap, at the popular hog roast arranged by members of St Mary's Parish Church.

Museum volunteer, Barrie Astbury (in the red jacket) sets the scene before the start of one of the History Tours of the town.

Nantwich Museum's former Community Learning Officer, Allison Kirk,  with another party on a History Tour.
